Cannot Communicate with Printer via USB

  1. Check1 Make sure printer is turned on.

    When using the battery, make sure it is charged before turning it on. For details on how to check, refer to the instruction manual of the battery.

  2. Check2 Connect USB cable properly.

    As the illustration below, the USB port is at the side of the printer.

    Important

    • Connect the "Type-C" terminal to the printer. For details, refer to the instruction manual supplied with the USB cable.
  3. Check3 Make sure Enable bidirectional support is selected in the Ports sheet of the Printer properties dialog box. (Windows)

    If not, select it to enable bidirectional support.
